Syamak Yamini, DPM, FACFAS

Syamak Yamini, DPM, FACFAS provides expert foot and ankle care in Porter Ranch, California, Encino, CA, San Fernando Valley, and the surrounding areas. He has proudly served the residents of the Valley since 2010.
As a podiatrist, Dr. Yamini specializes in the diagnosis and treats ankle and foot conditions, such as sprained ankles, broken feet, diabetic nerve damage, limb salvage, hammertoes, bunions, and sport-related injuries. He has comprehensive training in foot and ankle surgery, including reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Yamini earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt College.
He completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency with the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Health System and Olive View—UCLA Medical Center, serving as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Yamini earned his board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
He holds current memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, and Los Angeles Podiatric Medical Society. He holds a fellow status through the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and diplomate credentials through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
In addition to his private practice in Porter Ranch and Los Angeles CA, Dr. Yamini also provides services at Amputation Prevention Center at Valley Presbyterian Hospital. He is also an attending physician at Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles working closely with podiatric residents and students.
