Angela Kalisiak, MD - Compass Oncology

Dr. Kalisiak is Medical Director at Compass Oncology and Director of the Compass Palliative Care Program, an innovative program providing symptom management, resources and psychosocial support for cancer patients and their families, as well as end of life care. After nearly 20 years of practice as a medical oncologist, Dr. Kalisiak transitioned full-time to palliative care. This subspecialization enables her to use her skill and knowledge to focus on what matters most to her patients whether it is relief of physical symptoms, emotional support or helping families understand more about their loved one’s care. Dr. Kalisiak helps patients prioritize those things that improve quality of life and builds a supportive, holistic plan. She is pivotal in the team approach to care, regularly collaborating with all specialties within Compass.
In her spare time, she enjoys family, hiking and camping.
