Lehrhaupt is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the North East Society of Periodontics, the New Jersey Dental Association, the New Jersey Society of Periodontists and the Middlesex County Dental Society.Dr. Lehrhaupt maintains a periodontal and implant practice with emphasis in disease prevention and the non-surgical, as well as surgical, correction of oral disease.Dr. Nina B. Lehrhaupt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association. Dr. Lehrhaupt earned her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1992 and continued there for her Post Doctoral Program specializing in Periodontics. She has extensive training in Implant Dentistry as well.She is a Third Generation Dentist and has been in private practice since 1992, but has worked in the dental field since the age of 15! She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Periodontics at New Jersey Dental School - UMDNJ. Dr. Nina B. Lehrhaupt is an attending and the Section Head of Oral Diagnosis at John F. Kennedy Hospital as well as an attending on the Medical/Dental staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She has also authored several articles in dental journals and lectured locally, nationally, and internationally to physicians, dentists, dental residents, students and hygienists.
