By trade an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner turned mother of 5 girls (the Universe works in humorous ways) and now an NAMA certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, my mission is to provide authentic Ayurvedic skin care using ancient botanicals and years of study to modern women seeking seeking natural yet luxurious health and beauty products .
The creation of Jivana came when I decided I wanted to avoid over-using medications on my children and set forth to find Ayurvedic solutions. A combination of several years of Advanced Ayurvedic study, courses in cosmetic chemistry, and hundreds of experimentations later, I not only tossed the tubes of drug store creams but started a skin care company in the process. Herein was the genesis of Jivana.
