Elite NP Clinic: Tamara Washington, APRN, FNP-C

Tamara Washington is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience practicing internal medicine. As the owner and operator of Elite NP Clinic in DeSoto, Texas, Nurse Washington and her professional staff operate under the precept that patients deserve efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare options.
Nurse Washington was born in Dallas, Texas where she grew up and later received her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She’s practiced as a nurse and served patients in Dallas for more than a decade.
To enhance her knowledge, passion, and skills in her field, Nurse Washington obtained numerous certifications, including basic life support and Certified Nurse Operating Room. She’s also qualified to provide Department Of Transportation physical exams and other types of work physicals.
Nurse Washington is a provider of compassion and integrity who takes time to listen to patients, maintaining that patient experience and comfort are a top priority. She treats the body as one whole interconnected system and offers comprehensive care that’s inclusive of the physical, mental, and spiritual components of health.
Nurse Washington serves adults over age 18 and collaborates with a skilled physician, Dr. Marco Britton. Various services are available at Elite NP Clinic, including management for diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, annual physical exams, well-woman exams, contraception, and immunizations, such as tetanus and the flu.
