David Tillou is the founder of Tillou Financial Group. He has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He also received education from the American College and College of Financial Planning. David has passed the Series 65 exams and holds his life and health insurance licenses in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

David and his wife, Liz, have two daughters, Sarah and Hannah, and a German shorthaired pointer named Gunner. The family attends Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville. Together, they enjoy entertaining friends and family, supporting local high school athletics programs, boating and jet skiing on the St. Croix River, travelling and attending Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Gopher athletic events. Dave also has a passion for hunting, including elk, deer, ducks, geese, turkey, pheasants and coyotes.
