Balloon Sinuplasty (BSP) implements a small, flexible catheter device to open up and relieve blocked sinus passageways and facilitate drainage of the mucus that builds up and causes chronic sinusitis symptoms. When the sinus balloon is inflated, it safely reshapes and widens the walls of the sinus passageway without compromising the structural integrity of the bone and tissue.
