Dr. Alan A Netzman, DO

Alan A. Netzman, D.O., is a general surgeon and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Netzman is Board certified in surgery and has more than 30 years of experience diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of conditions and diseases, including operative intervention. He manages a patient’s preoperative diagnosis, performs elective and emergency surgery on most body systems and provides comprehensive postoperative care.

Dr. Netzman received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed two surgical residencies—one at Metropolitan Hospital, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and the other at Community Hospital South Broward, Southeastern Medical Center in North Miami Beach, Fla. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association.
