Ashley Smile Dental: Winifred Dike, DDS

Dr. Winifred Dike is a skilled dentist serving the varied oral health needs of patients from all over the Houston area and surrounding communities. In August 2005, she opened her first location Ashley Dental’s welcoming office in the heart of Houston and in August 31, 2016, she opened another clinic Ashley Smile Dental in west Houston and has been a community mainstay ever since, forming close personal relationships with patients and enhancing smiles along the way.
In 2003, Dr. Dike graduated from Howard University’s College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. Upon graduating, she also earned a certificate from the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery for exceptional skills in oral surgery and implant dentistry. She went on to expand her skills and dental knowledge at the general practice residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center’s School of Dentistry and affiliated hospitals and clinics, Hermann Hospital and the Institute for rehabilitation and research.  She is an active member of the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Orthodontic Society, and American Dental Association. 
As a practicing professional, Dr. Dike is passionate about providing her patients with high-quality dental care. She has advanced training in a variety of dentistry services to improve smiles and dental procedures that restore the health of teeth and gums.
She has received numerous awards for her exceptional knowledge from institutions such as the American Prosthodontic Society and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for Implant Placement and Oral Surgery, as well as several peer-reviewed dentist awards. Her emphasis on giving back to her local community through youth mentorship programs and dental care for underserved communities has earned her community service awards from various groups and a United States President Humanitarian Award.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Dike loves watching movies, running, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her three beautiful children.
