The American College of Rheumatology estimates 88 million people have some form of rheumatic ailment or condition. As a rheumatologist, Dr. Nandini Chhitwal diagnoses and treats a wide variety of disabling diseases. Her specialty areas include various kinds of arthritis, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout; auto-immune diseases, such as lupus, Sjogren’s and scleroderma; and musculoskeletal pain disorders. And as one of the newest additions to our health system, Dr. Chhitwal hopes to use a multidisciplinary approach to manage her patients in the most comprehensive and effective manner.
