About Dr. Fajardo
As an expertly trained OB/GYN, Javier E. Fajardo, MD, FACOG cares for women of all ages throughout Chicago. Dr. Fajardo adds his extensive background and education to the leading OB/GYN team at For Women, Ltd., where patients know him for his compassion and caring bedside manner. The clinic is conveniently located near Chicago’s River North, Magnificent Mile, and North Side neighborhoods.
After completing medical school at the University of Central Venezuela, Dr. Fajardo came to Chicago. He then spent time researching ovarian cancer for the National Ovarian Cancer Early Detection program at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, followed up by his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
Dr. Fajardo joined a busy practice at Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago shortly after completing his educational requirements. He earned his board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fajardo also serves as an assistant professor at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
Because Dr. Fajardo has extensive experience in high-risk pregnancies, complex fertility issues, and ovarian cancer, he is the go-to practitioner throughout the greater Chicago area. Dr. Fajardo speaks both English and Spanish fluently and is currently accepting new patients.
