Mary Swonger, DPM

Mary K. Benjamin-Swonger, DPM, double board certified podiatric surgeon with over 20 years of experience, treats patients of all ages and is able to accurately diagnose and treat their foot, ankle and lower leg concerns. She believes educating her patients to better understand their diagnosis and treatment plan helps to not only improve their outcome, but provides a higher quality of care. Prior to joining Steward Medical Group, Dr. Benjamin-Swonger owned and operated multiple podiatry offices throughout Ohio and was a staff physician at the local wound care centers. She was instrumental in developing the surgical residency program at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Mary’s, Ohio. In her spare time, she can be found outdoors, scrapbooking or with her four children enjoying family time.
