I started my nursing career in high school. I took a CNA class my senior year. I think my future was set. I went to nursing school out of high school. I finished my ADN program locally at Kaskaskia College. I immediately started my BSN program through McKendree. From there, I went on to serve in the Armed Forces as a nurse in the Navy. I worked as a registered nurse in general med surg, labor and delivery, pediatrics, ICU and ER for 10 years before completing my Family Nurse Practitioner Progra
