April Ross is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing, followed by her master's degree in nursing from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Following her education, she moved to Fruita and started her career as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in 2000. April always loved caring for people and wanted to have a career where she could directly help improve the lives of others.April says her philosophy of care is one based on trust, kindness and time. A patient must trust you have their best interests in mind, and this is demonstrated through active listening, kindness and making the most of our time together.As a nurse practitioner, April enjoys taking care of people of all ages with neurological problems. She is passionate about treating and improving the lives of people who suffer from migraines. When she is not at work, April enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
