Tamara S. Faktor, PT

Tammy is a physical therapist with more than 30 years of experience, and has been with SCL Health for more than 30 years. She obtained a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Evidence in Motion and holds a certificate in physical therapy from Mayo Clinic of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, MN. In addition, she is a Level II Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, manually certified, and is trained to develop post offer programs for employers. Throughout her career Tammy has worked in multiple areas including: inpatient care, home care, outpatient care, and as a consultant to a health club. She has worked in multiple SCL Health facilities treating primarily orthopedic patients. For more than a decade she has managed the SCL Health Medical Group rehabilitation clinics. Tammy works closely with the occupational medicine sales team, patient financial services, occupational medicine physicians and employers, and referring family practice and specialist physicians. She values quality and evidenced based patient care, which produces improved patient functional outcomes. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys bike riding, jogging, hiking, and spending time with family.
