Jessie J. Salisbury, MD

An Idaho native, Dr. Jessie Salisbury was always interested in science and knew by the time she was 12 that she would be a pediatrician because she loves children. Her patients range in age from birth to 21. Unlike practicing in a large city where there are many pediatric specialists, being a pediatrician in Butte means that Dr. Salisbury sees and treats young patients with a diverse range of illnesses from influenza to diabetes, neurological disorders and seizures to cancer. The reward to her is helping a child be as healthy as they can be regardless of their illness. When she’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Salisbury enjoys camping, gardening, and traveling.Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Salisbury completed an internship in the Phoenix Pediatric Residency Program following her graduation from the University of Washington Medical School. She subsequently completed residencies at the Maricopa Medical Center and Phoenix Pediatric Residency Program.
