Jerry S. Miklin, MD

A Colorado native, Dr. Miklin received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed residency training in internal medicine and cardiology, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, at the University of Utah. Returning to Colorado, Dr. Miklin joined SCL Health in 1983. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, and is chief of the cardiac service line at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Miklin has been named a Top Doctor by Denver’s 5280 magazine more than once.An active runner and skier, Dr. Miklin stays in shape and enjoys world-famous Colorado skiing. Outside the hospital or clinic, you will often find him playing golf or fixing almost anything around the house. He is also a busy husband and father, keeping up with his wife and five children, including two sets of twins.
