Eric J. Whittier, DO

Dr. Whittier received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed residency training in internal medicine at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. He is board certified in internal medicine.For Dr. Whittier, the most rewarding aspect of primary care medicine is building relationships with his patients through regular visits over the course of many years. Studies have provideddoctors with many guidelines to follow, but he recognizes that each patient is unique and not all of these recommendations can be blindly applied to everyone. He enjoys providing his patients with information, and working with them to make decisions that best meet their needs and keep them as healthy as possible.
