Martin Fejka, MD

Dr. Martin Fejka received his medical degree suma cum laude from Safarik University School of Medicine in Czechoslovakia. He relocated from Europe in 1993 and completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University. From Missouri, Dr. Fejka moved to Michigan, where he completed cardiovascular fellowship training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and then an interventional cardiology fellowship at St. John Hospital in Detroit before joining SCL Physicians in 2003. Dr. Fejka is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He specializes in interventional cardiology, coronary and peripheral interventions and treatment of varicose veins and vein disease. His expertise centers on the use of various devices, angioplasty balloons, atherectomy catheters, stents and radiofrequency ablation catheters to treat patients with heart and vascular disease.Away from the hospital, Dr. Fejka enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, reading, playing the saxophone and, most importantly, spending time with his family, including his son and daughter.
