Bohuslav Finta, MD

Dr. Finta received his medical degree from the University PJ Safarik, Kosice, in Slovak Republic. He completed residency training in internal medicine with Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Finta completed two fellowships – one in cardiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan, and one in electrophysiology from the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Finta is double board certified in cardiology and electrophysiology. He specializes all aspects of diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmia."I chose the specialty of cardiac electrophysiology because it allows me to combine commitment to patient care with a passion for cutting edge technology, so I can make a real difference in the lives of my patients."Dr. Finta is married with three children. When he is not at work, Dr. Finta enjoys time with his family, reading, skiing and playing the guitar.
