A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Galeotos began his career in the travel industry when he accepted a job with Delta Air Lines. Just two years later, in 1990, he joined Worldspan, a partnership between Delta, Northwest Airlines, and TWA Airlines that delivered the Global Distribution System by the same name. He left Worldspan in 1999, relocating to Honolulu to join CheapTickets. When CheapTickets was acquired by Cendant, Galeotos stayed on as CEO of strategic distribution and travel services. Today, Galeotos operates Shellback Management, a real estate and hospitality organization, and sits on the board of Green House Data.
