Katie Michelson, CNP

Katie Michelson is a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Monument Health Cancer Care Institute. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Mount Mary College in Yankton, SD. Katie started her nursing career in oncology because her own family history of cancer led her to have a connection with the patients. She enjoys making connections with patients and their loved ones. Katie spends time with her patients throughout their cancer journey and can be there for them on their best and worst days, which she believes are both equally as important and rewarding. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors in the Black Hills with family and friends hiking, biking, boating, camping, skiing and snowmobiling. She also enjoys reading a good book.
