Hand-N-Hand Therapy, LLC

Hand-N-Hand Therapy was founded in 1990 by Dr. Diane T. Stroud PT, DPT, Advanced Certified Rolfer® and Dr. Pamela A. Wood PT, DPT during an evening chat at Bob & Edith's diner in Arlington Virginia. Having met through their home health experience with the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), both brought unique skills to the field. Diane having a strong passion for the mind/body connection and Pam with her mechanical savviness truly embraced the art of physical therapy. Together these sage practitioners joined forces to create one of the longest standing woman owned physical therapy clinics in Virginia.



Over their many years in physical therapy and Rolfing®, they have appreciated the body’s balanced structure, complete with efficient and fluid movement patterns. They have also witnessed the devastation when this balance is disrupted by physical or life stresses. A "dis-ease" of function oftentimes develops, ultimately manifesting as annoying or incapacitating symptoms. As seasoned manual therapists they strive to identify these imbalances and provide the necessary reeducation to enable the body to reclaim a greater state of health, comfort and balance.
