As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Brar stays up to date with the latest laser eye treatments. He holds certifications in Visx laser, C-Lasik, Allegretto Laser, Intralase Femtosecond Laser, Ziemer Femtosecond Laser, Visian ICL, LenSx, and ORA Systems. He is a Fellow at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Refractive Surgery Alliance.
A graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. He’s had an established presence as a trusted ophthalmologist in the Torrance and Hawthorne communities since 2002.
Dr. Brar serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. He is also Chief of Ophthalmology, Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, California. He is also affiliated with South Bay Surgery Center.
