With over 25 years practicing obstetrics and gynecology, Gigi Hafizi, MD, provides women in Annandale, Virginia, and surrounding areas with top-quality care. As an OB/GYN at Metropolitan Women's Center, Dr. Hafizi relies on her years of medical experience as well as her skills in the most advanced gynecological techniques to ensure the best outcome for every patient. She practices minimally invasive surgeries, including vaginal and laparoscopically assisted hysterectomies, so her patients can recover faster and more comfortably.
After finishing her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Hafizi went on to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane University.
Dr. Hafizi is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with the Virginia Hospital Center and Reston Hospital Center. In addition to working with patients, Dr. Hafizi has experience supervising residents and students in obstetrics and gynecology at Fairfax Hospital.
