At Lower Highlands Dermatology in Denver, Colorado, the professional team strives to bring their patients uncompromising excellence in skin care treatments. The practice’s founder, Catherine Carretero, MD, is joined by nurse practitioner Maggie Catalano, and together they bring the residents of the Mile High City a full range of medical and cosmetic dermatological services.
Dr. Carretero and Maggie, along with the rest of the Lower Highlands Dermatology team, provide treatment for a variety of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Beyond these medical treatments, they use innovative therapies and equipment to offer skin-improving and anti-aging cosmetic procedures.
A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Carretero attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for her undergraduate studies, then enrolled in medical school at Wayne State University. She completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital.
Maggie Catalano attended Clemson University, where she received degrees in biology and psychology. She then earned her nursing degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science before pursuing her nurse practitioner degree at Samuel Merritt University.
