Dr. Tanvira Alam has spent the last several years as a doctor of obstetrics & gynecology and received her bachelor's degree from Bangladesh Medical College. She completed her medical education at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology and completed her residency NYU Lutheran Medical Center. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Alam is focused on providing the her patients with the right health care options for each of her patients and their individual needs.

Born in Bangladesh, Dr. Alam is fluent in Bangla and Hindi.

Dr. Alam takes special interest in, pregnancy (pre and post-natal care), irregular menstrual cycles, hormone replacement therapy, adolescent care, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, infertility, and general gynecologic well-being.
