Fisher Hyde Park

R. C. (Ray) and Muriel Fisher founded Fisher’s Topsoil in 1966. In the early years, topsoil was the main product screened and sold in the Belmont, Dorchester and Harrietsville area. The interim years saw the business grow in size, expanding to the London area. The product mix expanded, adding mulches and natural stone products. 1988-89 began a new era when the 258 Exeter Road location opened as a retail outlet. Fisher’s Topsoil added Landscape Supplies to our name and continued the expansion of our products. Ground covers, mulches, patio stones and aggregates broadened the scope of products available from Fisher’s Topsoil. Our co-owners incorporated the business in 1996 at 258 Exeter Road, London, Ontario and expanded to North London in 1998. At incorporation, we added golf course mixes to our product line. In 2005, Oaks Concrete Products, interlocking stone and retaining walls joined the Fisher family of products. In 2014, we saw big changes. The co-owners John Fisher and Ron Verougstraete decided to franchise both London locations, each one now operating as a separate entity. Fisher’s Landscape Depot (3rd generation family) remains at 258 Exeter Road in south London. Fisher Hyde Park has moved to a new and improved location at 1683 Fanshawe Park Road West in North West London. Check out our updated indoor and outdoor displays. Our number one goal has always been to provide excellent service and great products to our customers. This continues to be our priority, because we understand that without you, OUR CUSTOMERS, there would be no Fisher. The success of Fisher’s Topsoil can be attributed to the on-going investment in the business by our co-owners.
