Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant

Since 1976, when Antoine Hedary and his family of 9 arrived from Lebanon and opened their first Lebanese restaurant on White Settlement Rd. in Ft. Worth, Texas, Hedary’s has been delighting critics and diners alike with their commitment to using natural, fresh, high-quality ingredients. George Hedary continues this legacy in Allen, Texas, where he currently resides with his wife and two children. This is George’s third restaurant; his first was in the Promenade Shopping Center in Richardson, Texas in 1988.   

Hedary’s uses traditional recipes and culinary techniques and is committed to providing food that is fresh and flavorful without the use of preservatives or unnatural additives and never microwaved!   They pickle their own cucumbers and turnips that are grown for them locally.   They also make our own yoghurt (laban) and strain the whey out to make our own labneh. The milk that is used is purchased locally and comes from cows that are milked daily so that by the time it reaches their kitchen it is less than two days old. It doesn’t get better than that!  Hedary’s has always taken pride in making their own bread.  They mix, proof, cut and bake their bread and serve it fresh and hot to each table.   Many of the herbs and vegetables come from the organic garden located in the front of the restaurant.
