The American Bar Association states that around 90% of citizens in the U.S. cannot afford to pick up the phone and call an attorney. Living in a nation that prides itself on having civil rights seems but a dream when very few actually have access to those rights, it seems only just that we share information about a service that can truly level the legal playing field.

I was first introduced to LegalShield as a new business owner back in 2007. I had never really used an attorney before, however, my partners and I had retained an attorney that had cost us $10,000 and he charged $400 an hour. I was naive to believe that the retainer would last us a couple of years. I learned quickly that it wouldn’t last me six months at the rate we were using him. I started Google-searching legal documents and actually writing my own contracts praying that the documents never would end up on a judge’s bench.
