Attorney Liz Lane has been practicing estate planning in Colorado for the past 10 years. Liz specializes in disability law, probate administration, Medicaid longterm care eligibility, special needs trusts, and wills & trusts. Liz is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York and California and graduated with a BS in International Affairs from Georgetown Universitys School of Foreign Service and a JD from Boston College Law School. Liz has more than 25 years experience as a lawyer, including tax and litigation positions with large Wall Street and San Francisco law firms, as well as nearly a decade working as general counsel for two financial services companies, Colorado Commodities Management Corporation and Mentor Capital Consultants.For 18 years, Liz has produced public affairs programs for KGNU radio Boulder/Denver. During this time, she has interviewed hundreds of authors, elected officials and policy makers on a wide range of topics. Liz's vast experience, especially in finance combined with her legal expertise in all areas of estate planning allows her to advise her clients on a myriad of issues that many estate planning attorneys simply are not aware of. This big picture view and knowledge of how all aspects of estate planning intertwine with taxes, business and personal finances often saves Liz's clients time and money. Liz also offers both flat rate fees, as well as hourly rates on an as needed basis.
