A board-certified physician focusing on internal and family medicine, Karen Thampoe, MD, provides comprehensive health care for adult and geriatric patients at West Houston Internal Medicine in Katy, Texas. Dr. Thampoe offers diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, including diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, COPD, and depression.
Dr. Thampoe received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her hospital internship at Long Island College Hospital in Long Island, New York, then finished her residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In addition to providing services at West Houston Internal Medicine, Dr. Thampoe is affiliated with several area hospitals, including Houston Methodist, St. Catherine Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
