Jong Shi, MD, PhD, is a neurologist in the Department of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He earned his medical degree from Shanghai Medical University School of Medicine in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. Dr. Shi completed his residency and fellowship at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and earned a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Florida in the Department of Pharmacodynamics in Gainesville.

Before joining Barrow, he completed a behavioral and genetic neurology fellowship at the Laboratory of Neurogenetics at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
