Derek Wayman, MD

Dr Derek Wayman has been living and practicing in Devils Lake since 2006. He has found his purpose and interest in practicing obstetrics and taking care of children and young families. Dr Wayman does high-risk obstetrics including taking care of high-risk pregnancies, performing cesarean sections, doing difficult deliveries and other procedures needed for obstetrical patients. He enjoys being involved in care of newborns, babies discharged from the NICU, and children as they grow. Procedures Dr Wayman does in the clinic include colposcopy, LEEP procedure, IUD insertion and removal, laceration repair, removal of skin lesions, nail removal, endometrial biopsy and circumcision.
