Owners Carrie and Gene Orcutt have been here at Los Lagos since 1986. Carrie started here as a boarder and fell in love with all the amenities offered, including the beautiful Folsom lake riding trail system, the covered arena and large outdoor arenas. She started a riding school, HuntFields, in 1988 working under professional trainer Richard Sands from Australia. In 1992 she took over management and moved up in the training ranks when Richard returned to Australia. Improvements were made, more barns and a new arena were added and in 1997 the Orcutts purchased the facility.
This life continues to be a labor of love for the Orcutts. They continue to offer quality care and services for all their horses and riders. With Carrie and trainers Jeri Lou Paul Ellison, Heather Kelly, Ana Gilmour, and Lisa Bradley, all your training needs can be met no matter your discipline. This is truly a uniquely peaceful facility with an amazing staff.
