Hoover’s Subs & More are proud to be the “new kids on the block.” We are located in the old post office building in Valier, PA.

Since opening in 2014, we have grown from offering just pizza and subs to offering new items that are being added to the menu almost daily. Some items are on a “while supplies last” basis. Hoover’s Subs is always open to suggestions about keeping some things permanent though, like our Stromboli. Stromboli started out as just a special but quickly became a fixture on the menu.

On occasion we will have pre-packaged items available. These can include potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, baked beans, meat and cheese cups, veggie cups, etc. These are while supplies last. Hoover’s Subs also makes our own buttermilk ranch dressing. We have added ice cream and ice cream novelties along with candy, milk, chips, eggs, bread and Pepsi products in 20 oz. bottles and 2-liter bottles.

With business growing, we have added delivery to our “menu”. Monday through Friday Hoover’s Subs now offers lunch delivery to businesses in the Punxsutawney borough at no additional cost. It is offered between the hours of 11:30 and 1:30 p.m. Plus, we now offer home delivery from 5 p.m. until close.

If you know what time you need to pick up your order, call ahead. Hoover’s Subs encourages early calls for later pick up times. As early as 11:30 a.m. for closing time! Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook too to get all the latest updates on new items and our daily specials.
