I love working in family medicine because it lets me take care of the whole patient and, ideally, the whole family!

My ultimate goal is for my patients to be healthier. In some cases, being healthier means curing or managing an illness. In other cases, it means helping a patient cope with a difficult illness or a stressful time in their life.

My patients know that I listen and care. When I am in the room with them, I am focused on our visit. What they have to say really matters to me.

Relationships are the most rewarding part of my job. It is wonderful that my patients trust me with so many aspects of their lives. It helps me take the best possible care of them in a way that feels right.
