Otolaryngology Associates of Tennessee (OAT) is a group of medical and audiological specialists committed to providing excellent ear, nose, and throat care for patients throughout Middle Tennessee. In every aspect of our practice, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a courteous and respectful environment.

In 1997, two leading Nashville-based otolaryngology practices united to form OAT. Individually, these practices, led by Drs. Bryan, Kennon, and Alley, had a history dating to the 1930s and 1950s. These well-respected practices had each cultivated a reputation for outstanding clinical care, becoming the standard bearers for otolaryngology in Nashville. At OAT, we strive to maintain this legacy of excellence.

Today, OAT physicians work primarily through Baptist and Centennial Hospitals. However, our current specialists, Drs. Crook, Downey, and Cate also provided ENT services at Vanderbilt Hospital. Our team of OAT clinicians still maintains a warm and collegial relationship with Vanderbilt, the Children’s Hospital, the Bill Wilkerson Center, as well as Baptist and Centennial.

In our multiple locations throughout the greater Nashville area, OAT strives to uphold this heritage of community awareness and accessibility. In addition to our physician office visits, we offer a full range of ENT-related services such as hearing testing and hearing aid fitting, allergy testing and treatment, custom ear molding, cancer treatments, and pediatric otolaryngology.

For decades, OAT and its predecessors have had the privilege of caring for the ears, noses, and throats of Middle Tennessee. With our patient-centered approach, we continually seek new and better ways to deliver specialty otolaryngology services to our community.
