Ventura Downtown Lions Club

The Ventura Downtown Lions Club has been actively seeking to strengthen and support the area's civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare for nearly a century, having been chartered in April 1923. We believe that part of this effort lies in facilitating open and honest discussion about all matters of interest to the citizens of Ventura. We leave debates about politics and religion at the door and work to find common ground with citizens of all backgrounds and beliefs. By developing a shared goal of service, those things that may otherwise divide us are put on the back burner as we build each other and those in our community up.
