Born and raised in Ridgecrest, CA, Sherrina starting her coaching career at the age of 14. She coached the Indian Wells Valley Youth Football program from middle – high school. After graduating, Sherrina attended Bakersfield College in 96′ and made the cheer team. After a couple of years, Sherrina continued her passion at Northwest All-Stars and shortly switched over to school competitive cheer at Heritage Christian middle school for several years. Winning 3 PPAACC competitions and then joining Cal State Bakersfield, University cheer team she switched from competitive cheer to school cheer at Garces Memorial High school. From 2001 – 2009 Sherrina coached up to 3 squads, added a dance program, and implemented a song program. In 2009, she took a break from cheer to raise a family. Now married with four children, Sherrina has jumped back into the cheer scene to help the youth again find their passion for the sport. She has attained many local and national awards over the years and is Level 1-2 certified tumbling and stunt coach, a STUNT the sport official judge, AACCA certified, and a licensed ZUMBA instructor. She is also the Cheer Coordinator for the U.S. Army All-Star Bowl, the exhilarating indoor high school football game that occurs each year in May.
