Brenda Adamovich, D.O., has expertise with the following neurological disorders: epilepsy; neuromuscular disorders (diseases of muscles and nerves); stroke; traumatic brain Injury; headache; migraine Headaches; dystonias; dementia; Parkinson’s Disease; multiple sclerosis; restless legs syndrome; movement disorders; sleep apnea; brain and spinal tumors’ myasthenia gravis; amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Among the treatments Dr. Adamovich provides is botox therapy. This treatment benefits some patients with migraine headaches. Dr. Adamovich graduated from The Ohio State University with bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in speech and hearing science. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Adamovich completed a neurology residency at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2009. She then completed a neurology fellowship in neurophysiology at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh in 2010 where she received specialized training in epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders (diseases of muscles and nerves). A test she published to assess cognitive skills after traumatic brain injury now is used internationally.
