Caveney Robert MD

Robert Caveney, M.D., has been practicing orthopedic surgery in his hometown of Wheeling since 1981. He is experienced in various areas, including:
• total joint replacement, including knee, hip and shoulder, with a modified-mini approach as indicated.

• pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine.

• fractures of the upper and lower extremities.

• arthroscopy of the knee.

• rotator cuff repairs.

• foot and ankle surgery.

He is a graduate of WVU, and the WVU School of Medicine. Dr. Caveney completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and pursued a post-doctoral research fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at UPMC in Pittsburgh. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is also a member and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Caveney’s teaching appointments include clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at WVU School of Medicine.
