In 1999, Patrick saw the potential for the mortgage brokerage business so he sold a successful vending machine company and started learning the ropes of the industry before starting MC Mortgage Group in 2005.

Patrick is a member of IMAF Cape Fear, which is an Angel fund that invest in local startups and is also involved with his neighborhood HOA and sponsors many local youth athletic teams.

His reputation in the business community is the product of his 20 plus years as a successful local entrepreneur and community activist.

Patrick is now in the happy position where a great deal of his business comes through repeat business and referrals - a testament to his clients' satisfaction.

Patrick was raised on a farm in the Piedmont of North Carolina and moved to Wilmington to complete his Certificate in Business Administration at UNCW. Patrick and his wife Laura have a son Jacob and a who loves to play hockey and a new baby girl Piper Ann. When not busy with business, family, and community commitments, Patrick enjoys traveling with his family and attending live sporting events.
