Higher Class Glass

David A. Gross first got behind a lampworking torch in the year 2010, and from there on was pushed to the limits of skill and knowledge by the support of close friends and family. As an artist, his ability to sculpt solid and hollow functional pieces is always increasing along with attention to detail and flawlessness. In an attempt to identify weather or not a piece of glass art was created by David he has been known to sign his artwork with the intials DAG followed by the year created i.e. (DAG'15). Glassblowing has become an outlet of expression for him and since has expanded views of "art" as he is known to draw and sketch his pieces of glass after they are made, the opposite of what most glass designers would take on.
