American Surgeons Group is a full service podiatry practice with three offices in Illinois: Homewood, South Chicago Heights, and Mokena.

Both of our board-certified podiatric physicians and surgeons have a wealth of experience, and have treated patients for a nearly three decades. American Surgeons Group handles a full range of foot and ankle conditions from heel pain, bunions and hammertoes to diabetic wound care, and so much more.

We specialize in plantar fasciitis, custom orthotics, plasma-cell (PRP) therapy to accelerate the body’s own healing system, and Q-Beam Laser therapy to eradicate toenail fungus. If surgery becomes necessary both Drs. Horak and Shauger a variety of quality surgical procedures including minimally invasive, arthroscopic and endoscopic surgery.
