Daniel Pickering: Allstate Insurance

When it comes to helping people and offering fantastic customer service, I'm a veteran. I spent 13 years building a nutrition franchise in Missouri, which allowed me to be part of a community — something I was missing after moving to Sioux Falls in 2010. My desire to work with people again guided me towards insurance, and Allstate in particular.
When Allstate asked me to open a second location in the Siouxland area I was so excited to be able serve an area that my family and friends all still live and work.

The Siouxland area is a wonderful place to raise a family with local sports, beautiful parks, an arts! My family truly enjoys the outdoors. We love hiking, kayaking, fishing and camping. We also love to travel and will go anywhere near the beach or mountains.

When a former employee of mine lost her house to a fire, she didn't have sufficient coverage to rebuild. She said, "Everyone loves going to a fundraiser unless that fundraiser is for you." Her experience pushes me to help customers understand how important it is to have the right coverages in place.
