Jan Mayer Walker, MD

Dr. Jan Walker is a pediatrician at Rochester Regional Health. In high school, Dr. Walker discovered she liked people as much as science, and decided that using science to care for people would bring her more joy than advancing the field. Dr. Walker joined the Wayne Medical Group for the first time in 1992, where she practiced at the Wolcott office for eight years before beginning subspecialty training in development Pediatrics at the Kirch Developmental Services Center at the University of Rochester. She was a member of the Unity Pediatric Development Unit, involved in subspecialty developmental behavioral practice, until returning to the Wayne Medical Group in 2006. Her special interests include learning and behavior problems.
