The Once Upon a Child Kennesaw location was opened by Mark & Gina McNitt on December 2, 2010. Mark was getting ready to retire from corporate America and wanted something both partners could do to stay active in the community. Mark’s brother Todd, own’s a Once Upon a Child and Plato’s Closet in Knoxville, TN and was the catalyst for Mark & Gina to move forward with the Kennesaw location.

We offer payment on-the-spot for items we select that meet current style, safety and condition standards. We maintain high merchandise standards by thoroughly inspecting all toys and equipment for any safety recalls.

We buy 7 days a week, all seasons all year, no appointment necessary and process the buys the same day on a first come, first serve basis. We pay cash on the spot for the items we would like to purchase from you.
