Avant Residential And Community Services

Avant Residential and Community Services is a small family-owned, family-operated organization with exceptional personal and professional experience working with people with special needs. We are certified by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and a home and community-based services provider and as a Texas home living provider. The Home and Community-Based services (HCS) Program:

HCS provides individualized services and support to eligible people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live with their families in their own homes or in other community settings, such as small group homes. This is a Medicaid Waiver Program that assists persons with developmental disabilities to live life as normally as possible in a home and community setting.

The Texas Home Living (TxHmL) Program:

TxHmL provides services and supports to Texans with an intellectual disabilities (ID) or a related condition so that they can continue to live with their families or in their own homes. TxHmL services are intended to supplement instead of replace the services and supports a person may receive from other programs, such as Texas Health Steps Program, or from natural supports, such as his or her family, neighbors or community organizations.
