Furrukh Malik, MD

Furrukh Malik, MD has a background in invasive cardiology with specialized training in advanced heart failure and transplantation. Dr. Malik earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College, graduating top of his class. After serving as Chief Resident at the University of Connecticut, he completed his cardiology fellowship and received additional training in advanced heart failure at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Malik is also trained in advanced cardiac imaging, including CT arteriography. He enjoys being active in research, and serving as principal investigator in several clinical trials. Before moving to Nashville, Dr. Malik was affiliated with the Holston Valley Medical Center in East Tennessee. Dr. Malik started his practice in Nashville in 2005 and is currently a well-respected staff member of the TriStar Medical Group with current practice locations at Centennial Physicians Park and Tristar Medical Plaza - Brentwood. Dr. Malik enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children, exercising, reading and playing golf.
